“He just got blasted. He just got totally blasted. Oh. My geez yo.
What s s up guys joey here. Welcome back to another full pc. Build guide. So this the second one that we have planned out of fort.
Remember the first one was a thousand five hundred the ones that are upcoming is seven hundred and then four hundred dollars. So if any of those are within your budget stay tuned for those build guides once again. We re gonna be building a mini itx gaming pc. I m really excited about this one.
Because it s gonna be the smallest pc verb built here on this channel. It s gonna be a console size pc. So for size comparison. Here s an xbox 360.
And here s our case. This case is called the note 2 or 2 by fractal design. I ve never worked in this case before i m really excited to anyways guys. We re gonna be breaking this video down into three parts.
So the first part is we re gonna go over the parts and start building it i m gonna show you guys how to build a pc step by step and then second i m not gonna show you how to install any necessary drivers you may need and of course windows 10 is well and then last. We re finally gonna be playing games it s gonna be a lengthy video because it is a full guide so let s just jump right into it so first. We re gonna be working with our cpu and our. Motherboard we went widow amd risin 5.
3600. This is a 6 core cpu with 12 threads. So we re pairing our cpu with an msi mini itx board. We paid 129 for it so we re gonna want to find the golden arrow on our cpu on the bottom left hand side and we re then gonna line that little point up with the arrow on the motherboard.
Which is located on the top left the first thing. We re gonna do is we re gonna get this lever and then lift it up all the way line up both arrows and we re not gonna push the cpu in we re just gonna let it drop into place just like that if you push it in you can bend the pins. And we don t want that and then we just set the lever back down now. We re gonna be installing the cpu cooler on to it so the rising 5.
Does come with a stock amd heatsink. But it s too bulky our case then won t shut. So we re not gonna be using that we went ahead and picked up a low profile cpu cooler from noctua. We paid 40 bucks for it presentation.
10 out of 10. So this installation is actually very simple alright. So first we want to unscrew all these and get rid of these two little plates and we also don t need this as well we can set this to the side now. We re gonna be working with our thermal paste and we re gonna put a pea sized amount in the middle the cpu so the way i m going to place the heatsink is with the cpu cable facing up.
So. The text should also be on this side right here and on the bottom so as i set it down. I m gonna be lining up these four points right here with the four points on the motherboard. Okay and once i have that i m gonna now flip the motherboard over and lay it on the heatsink and i want to make sure to obviously not move it out of place.
So i got to be careful with it make sure that this side is on the bottom of the motherboard and the text is facing us. So we re just gonna line it up and now we re gonna be using our screws screwdriver stops and it s good alright so that s in now. We re gonna connect the cpu fan to the cpu fan header on the motherboard so far around we will with 16 gigs seventy five bucks is what we pay for it so. The first thing you want to do is pull back to the top levers and then the ram only goes in one way.
So just stick it in here and then line it up with the top side and then you just push down until it clips so we re always samsung s 970 evo m2 ssd and we picked it up for 170 bucks..
This is the one terabyte capacity. So usually the m2 ssds are installed right here on the board. But this one s a little bit more unique. It s gonna go in through the back the way.
We re gonna line it up is go ahead and have it face upside down and we re going to first line it up at an angle. How they go in and then we re gonna then push it down and we re gonna be screwing it in with this little screw that came inside our motherboard box. That s it i m not too insulation done so now we re ready to put our motherboard inside our case. We paid 68 bucks for our note.
Oh and we re gonna be removing the four screws flip. It upside down. And the top should come right off and here we have the accessories. We re gonna need our screws and our graphics card mount so we re gonna be putting in our motherboard.
But first we want to put in our i o shield just make sure that the dragon is on top and you re gonna just make sure that it clips in on all four points. So i m gonna put it in at an angle. First make sure all my motherboard ports go into the i o shield and line. It up with the four points on the motherboard.
So you can use this box as a guide. It tells you what screw is for what tow to get it to line up. I m just gonna push up slightly for me to then screw in with these. So this is an sfx form factor power supply by courser for example.
If we look to our case. A normal sized power supply would not fit in here you have to make sure you go with an sfx. So yeah guys just keep that in mind this one s gonna get the job done so we cop. This guy for 120 bucks.
Oh. My and by the way guys. I ve never worked with an sfx form factor look how small it is alright. So here we have all our tables and this build.
We re only gonna be working with three cables. So that s all that needs to be connected to the actual power supply here s our extra leftover cables. We ll just keep these for the future if we ever need to make upgrades to our build. So the cables are labeled pci express is what s gonna power our graphics card so we re gonna be connecting the type for labeled part right here moving on to the next cable.
This is our cpu power cable again. The type four part will connect and then the final cable is the big 24 pin. So again the type. 4.
Part is what s hooking up to our power supply. So one piece goes in right here. And then the smaller one all right now let s put it into our case. So we re gonna want to remove this little cage.
Now we can push it out so once we have our little cage out just make sure that the fan of the power supply is facing down. So we re gonna want to screw it in like this so. These screws were using they come with the power supply and now we re just gonna slide it back into place and secure it so now we re gonna install our pci adapter so our graphics card could hook up through here so we re gonna be working with the big plate first so first thing you want to do is pull this lever back and we re gonna line this up in there this way and once you line it up just push down and then this lever will clip back up that s how you know it s into place so now if we turn it around we re gonna hook up the second piece to it it only goes in one way. Two thumbs on each side.
There you go alright guys so now it leaves us with one last component. We went with the our tx 2060 super this is the mini version by zotac so why our graphics cards gonna go this case actually has two 120 millimeter fan mounts for extra airflow if you wanted to i didn t count that as part of the budget. But some of you guys are gonna want to know how to install them so i ll go ahead and show you guys so in order for us to install the fans. We re gonna now need to remove the back part of the case.
So there s these little clips holding in the bottom part..
So we re just gonna want to unclip them. And we have three clips on this side alright this final side is then where you re gonna want to just slide. It off at an angle like that i m gonna go ahead and remove our magnetic dust filter. So the power cable.
The case comes already routed. But it s in the way of our fan installation. So we re gonna have to undo it all right so this is blocking the fan from going in so it looks like we have to get rid of this as well alright. So that thing s out of the way okay so right here.
I actually have two pretty beefy 120 millimeter fans with built in rgb these are totally unnecessary. But it s the only fans i have right now in the studio. I m only gonna be hooking up the fan power and not the led so these will not be lighting up. I ll link down in the video description.
Some normal fans that you could pop up in here. So to put the bottom lid back on we re gonna put it in through the front ports of the case first once that s lined up then just clip. The other sides into place. I m just gonna wire the two fan cables through this part of the case right here so for the power supply cable.
The case i m gonna route it along side the fans also sneak it through here as well so these two brackets right here go ahead and just unscrew them so i m putting in the card. It should look like that but then at the same time lining. It up with the pci express. So down here.
I m just gonna lift up the gpu with my fingers. And then that lines it up for me to then secure it so now we finally have all our components within our case. Now. It s just a matter of connecting all our cables and then we re done so we re just gonna take it one cable at a time.
It s really simple first. We re gonna be connecting the front ports of the case cup these little cables. They re all labeled starting with the power led. I m gonna put the positive on the left and then the negative on the right hand side of it it hooks up to the first two top left pins of jfp.
One right here and then right next to them is where the power switch cables gonna hook up doesn t matter what way it goes in and it should look like that so. It s only gonna hook up to the top pins of this input. Now if we take a look right under it that s where our hd audio cable is gonna hook up it only goes in one way our last cables a usb 30. Cable.
It hooks up right here now we re gonna hook up the two fans underneath our graphics card. I m gonna be connecting the fans to a fan splitter i ll link this in the video description so once this is connected now. We re gonna connect the fans to our motherboard right by our cpu fan header done and i m gonna go ahead and tuck in the cables right here on the side of the power supply. So now we re gonna be hooking up the power supply extension cable.
So normally you would hook up the power cable directly to the power supply oh at this case. This is shut off and the power supply inputs. Gonna be routed through the backside of the case which is over here so i m going to work in this cable through here and then i ll get in so that looks clean and now we only have three more cables to hook up. Which are gonna then power everything so the first cable is the pci express which is gonna power our graphics card.
I m gonna route the cable through the middle of the case then through this side right here. And once i get it where i want it just make sure that you connect these like that thank. You sure it doesn t go anywhere and make sure the clip clips into the graphics card done all right that looks good i m happy with that so now our second cable labeled cpu. I m gonna route it through the side of the power supply right here it s gonna then go down and hook up right here making sure it clips now our final cable is the 24 pin power cable which also hooks up to our.
Motherboard i m gonna remove the usb 30. Cable out for now just so you guys could get a look at this final cable. All right so if we take a look right here between our power supply and our ram that s where we re gonna hook up our final cable. The 24 pin power cable.
The clip facing the power supply and then push it down..
Till it clips into place there we go. Reattach my usb 30. Cable and we re done all the cables are connected okay. So if you wanted to install additional drives within this.
Case you can do. So but only 25. Inch. Hard drives or ssds and that goes in right here.
All right guys so here. We have our finished product. This can be upgraded up to a rising 9. And as far as our gpu.
It can go up to our tx 27. These supermini with zotac released the upgrade potential is there guys look out tying this little beast is i mean look at it i just think it s so dope. Because like you can just pop this in a backpack and just go anywhere mouse and keyboard boom just get to work this is dope. This is just like a normal size jansport backpack all right so it doesn t fit when people are traveling.
Though a lot of the times. You have a more beefier backpack anyways. But yes pop it up in there and there you re a portable desktop pc gamer no laptop full power no compromises. I m definitely gonna be upgrading this pc in the future and building more of these console size pcs because they re deep.
Remember all parts used for this builder link in the video. Description. And if you haven t turned on bail notifications. Yet for the channel be sure to do so so you can be alerted when the seven hundred and 400 built guides drop alright guys so first we re gonna be installing windows 10 from this usb flash drive.
I made a video tutorial on how to create one of these were then gonna arrive at this screen. We re just gonna click next and install now so right here i m gonna click i don t have a product key if you have one this is where you insert it i m gonna select windows 10 pro so if you have more than one drive hook up to your pc. You re gonna want to select custom. So then you could then select as to what drive you want to install windows 10.
So lock that one next so once it s done copying over the files from the usb to the ssd then the computer s gonna reboot itself a few times alright guys so we arrived at our desktop first i m gonna be showing you guys how to install all motherboard drivers then after that i m gonna show you how to install the bios to the latest version this is not required. But any of you guys who are curious i m gonna show you how to do it first things first is we re gonna want to go to our motherboards website. I ll put the link in the video description. We re gonna go to driver and then select windows 10 64.
Bit and i m gonna go down to the land drivers and i m gonna be downloading all of these this is our bluetooth or wi fi and then our ethernet driver so download and then i m gonna save it as to my desktop. I m gonna do the same thing for all of them desktop now i m gonna go down to audio drivers and i m gonna be downloading high definition audio driver save as desktop and those are all the drivers i m gonna be downloading let s go ahead and click view download and make sure everything s done alright it s ready to go so before we could install our drivers. We have to first extract them so go ahead and right click extract all extract and then the folder will pop up automatically. It s ready to go here s the folder.
So it s the same thing except now we re able to access it and install it i m gonna do the same thing for all our drivers try at all extract all right so now we re gonna be installing all these drivers so double click we re gonna find the windows 10 and i m gonna click wireless setup next next except next typical install all right that one s done next one is our audio driver. I m gonna find the set up yes and no i ll restart the computer later finish so now moving on to our wi fi driver. I m gonna click the autorun yes install all right that s done finish and our last one is our land driver setup. Yes install so now back to our motherboard website we re not gonna go to bios and we re gonna download the latest one which is at the very top version seven a forty vaa so i m gonna download that to my desktop it s right here let s extract it ok guys so here s our extract er bios folder.
We re gonna click it and we re gonna be dragging in our file they a a 0 file to an empty usb flash drive and just drag it in and when we restart our computer. We re gonna keep clicking the delete key on our keyboard so it could boot to our bios so restart. We re gonna go over to and flash alright there we go and we re gonna click select one file to update bios yes so we only have one usb flash drive hooked up to our pc. The one where our bios files located so we re gonna select that one and then our bios file so just wait till it s complete and just like it tells us on the screen.
We want to make sure the system does not shut down because if it does it s gonna corrupt the bios and then our motherboards gonna be rendered useless and you re gonna have to send it back to the manufacturer for repair alright guys. So. The bios has finished updating and went ahead and rebooted the system and now we re back at our desktop. I m gonna go ahead and restart it once again and keep clicking delete i want to go back to our bios that s where we re gonna make sure rams running at its rated speed.
We want to go over to overclocking and then we re gonna go down to a xmp gonna click that and select enabled now our ram is gonna be running it s rated speed of thirty two hundred megahertz as you can see right here..
We re ready to go to save and exit and save changes and reboot yes so far graphics card drivers. We re gonna be downloading the geforce experience program run so once the program is installed it automatically starts downloading the graphics card drivers and i m gonna select express installation now we re going to be installing our games i m gonna show you steam as an example so install steam run so i m gonna be installing counter strike. Usually it would have us navigate to where exactly we want to install the game. But there s only one drive in our pc.
The ssd so it doesn t give us an option i m just gonna click next and it s already gonna start installing the game so once we re done downloading all our games. We re then going to restart the computer one more time because we installed the graphics card drivers and then finally. We re ready to go okay. That works whoa no oh yeah.
Get me out there. We go all or nothing. One hey next game. Got.
Her. Okay. That s one way to start to match. No.
