Hey everyone welcome to my channel and todays video is going to be a a strawberry crumble ice cream cake and the first thing. Were actually going to is make these strawberry ice cream you can buy it but were going to start off by making it and then ill tell you how to work with it if you decide to buy it instead so first you are going to need a mixer. It could be a hand mixer or a stand mixer.
Like this one and youll need 2 cups of heavy whipping cream 1 can of sweetened condensed milk dont confuse it for the evaporated milk according to the recipe. There is a different signature is condensed or creamer mix. The ingredients until you create soft peaks.
It will take about maybe 3 to 5 minutes until you create a soft peak just make sure that you dont want to overdo it either prevent it will break and then it becomes cottage cheese type texture that we dont want so once you have reached low soft speed all youre going to do is add in your strawberries. I went ahead and talked mine up mine was just a bag of frozen strawberries. I really dont know how many answers that was glossy youre going to add the food coloring.
Lucky for me i did have pink ripe kind of head and put a lot because i wanted a very vibrant pink. But if you dont have pink and you have red food coloring. Just add a good 3 to 4 dots in there and just mix it up and so you get a pink and if it isnt enough to add another dog just be very conscious so if you put too much red.
Then it wont be too. Think it will be more red than me.
And then youre just going to add it to a cake pan make sure each pick on you are using here is the same size now. If you are buying your ice cream instead of making it youre going to do this step. Exactly the one you purchase just let it melt a little bit.
And then put it into a cake pan. Where its going to be the same exact size with the other and then lastly. I went ahead and just made two vanilla cake here again theyre all on the same size cake just to let them make easier.
And i dont have to go back and measure it so youre going to have your base. Which is the vanilla cake and youre going to pop. It with some frothing.
Im using thin layers just because i dont like to lick it off makes me on it. And after you have covered your first layer in frosting. Youre just going to place.
The strawberry cake layer right on top and again youre just going to cover it with crossing or buttercream. Ive seen people use cream cheese frosting just completely up to you and your background.
Then youre going to stack the last vanilla cake layer that you made ideally you do want to kind of flipped on the other side not with all the crumbles on top just because itll become a big mess when you start putting all the frosting. All the crumbles come up thats why the first layer is a crumb coat just so after you layer. The entire thing youll put it in the fridge for a little bit.
Itll harden and then come back and reef rock. It so following the cake layers next. All youre going to do is make a big crumble for the crumble youll need one box of strawberry jell o.
Half a stick of butter at room temp kind of a little melted and half a cup of flowers are you going to do is take a fork and just start crumbling. It together just to make sure all those ingredients combined. It is kind of time something you can you just had to go back and forth.
And dont mind that little hand there thats mine me. Shes maya how pretty i was okay and like i said just kind of go back and forth and who use 50 ingredients. Itll look kind of a little wonky at first.
But the more you make this the more of a crumble texture itll become music then after all that mixing you have your first strawberry for moles and youve set that aside and basically do the same exact things with the vanilla. This is instant vanilla pudding again half stick of butter and half a cup of flour and just get your fork and go at it until you make that stain from world temperature.
As you did with the strawberry and then as you can see i was starting to lose daylight. Very fast so ideally what you want to do after this step is youll mix symbols together and if you can see actually dont use all of the strawberry. I make probably use about 3 4.
Is because i wanted for a pink color opposed to dark red lights here but anyways back to losing daylight because i was losing daylight. I kind of skipped assess. But i want to make sure that i can tell you so that you dont so once you have your key crumbles combined youre going to bake it at 350 for 5 to 10 minutes it keep a good close eye on it because you dont want it different thatll just kind of give it that crunchy effect.
Then you get from the actual ice cream. When you eat that strawberry shortcake eye cream so again dont forget the bacon. I was just running out of sunlight.
And i didnt want to wait into the next day of inches. I wanted a piece already so like i said dont forget to make it and once you finish your crumble recross your cake that will just give it a nice cleaner finish supposed to be from coping spin and so with something all over the place and lastly youre like i keep seeing last name this video. But this is finally your last step youre going to go crazy.
With those crumbles and just put them all over that cake the more the better. I say it for this part because im not gonna lie to you i kept eating off of those crumbles like that little bowl.

Unfortunately. I couldnt get a decent photo. Because i ended up loosing that sunlight so i did have to wait until the next day to eat this cake.
