“There guardians its diet cola for the win. And we are back with another destiny destiny video. Now in today s video. I have talked a lot about clans in past and i m going to do one or two more short videos after this one dealing with clans.
But today s video is a tutorial on how to make your own clan. A lot of people have complained to me that there are solo players that they you know they can troll with a group by choice and this video is going to help you with that because not only am i going to teach you how to make a clan. But i will show you how to join or leave a clan as needed and not only that i m going to set this clan as an open group for my community. My followers who want to join a group.
But they just don t know where to start so this will be a great starting group for people just to join a collection of guardians this will be open for people of all ages you know doesn t matter. If you re real young doesn t matter. If you re old it doesn t matter. And i will enable clan features for both the ps4 as well as xbox one.
So it doesn t matter. What platform. You re on either this clan will be across all platforms ok. So let s get started.
The first thing you want to do is go to the community tab and click groups ok. Now that we re at the group s page. You ll want to go ahead and click create a group alright. So you ll have a few things here.
You ll have the group name. The group motto and your mission statement. So let s take a minute to fill those out ok. So now that we ve made a few choices here let s go back and look.
And see what i ve done so the clans and groups the group name is stay frosty guardians..
I chose these three words because it s kind of in my tagline and also there s a lot of variation on the words stay frosty. Stay. Frosty guardians is the clan name the motto is keep it caffeinated keep it carbonated most importantly stay frosty guardians just like the hat. The outro tagline and the mission statement is just this is a clan for the destiny youtuber diet cola for the win and his community down below we have made a few choices icon is going to be the red red level up icon.
The background is going to be sort of this i don t know weird color background and here i have chosen to make the group public and it is open to new members if it s open to new members that means anyone can join there are a few other options like open with admin approval. It s private that sort of thing. So this group is visible polical publicly and all that anyone can join ok. So now we re going to create the group alright.
So there it is you can see stay frosty guardians with a red powerup icon. The little sort of earth in the background. A lot of kind of cool stuff. And this is the group.
The membership is one member right now because that s me and i m going to take some steps to fix that so if you enable clan features. Then you will be set to a provisional plan. And until you have three members that plan will not be a public plan and in the game roster. It won t list the people in the clan roster.
So i m going to add a few members and then we re going to come back okay so now i am back with another account and in this account. We are going to head go ahead and search for this group now in the search box you re not going to be able to see it because the web cam. But i m just typing the words stay frosty guardians ok. And you can t see it there.
But it says it can t find the results. So i m going to go down here to the bottom and click view all results. Okay now that i ve typed it correctly stay frosty guardians is right there we re going to click that button that will bring us to the group and here s how you join the group you simply request joined selects click request. Join and ok.
I m going to send the request..
And it says that we ve joined the group because it s an open group. So now we re in close so now i have three members in the group which is the minimum requirement for making a clan so now i m going to go ahead and check this admin tools right over here. And we are going to promote one of our clan members to a clan leader. Okay and keep in mind.
These are all my own ultimate accounts. So there we go alright so members we re going to click that click the members button and then we ve got me as a founder diet cola for the win. We have diet coke oh and we have kill me now for the win. Kill.
Me. Now for the win as a gamer tag that i created. When i decided. Oh yeah.
I m going to go 1 to 40 without dying. I made it to level 8 ok so for the purposes of the video. We re going to go ahead and just promote these guys boom. We re promoting both of them.
And so now they re listed under administrators okay so we ve got founder diet cola for the win administrators. My two alternate accounts and then we are going to go ahead and log in as one of those admins. So that we can able plan features if i enable clan features on my main account. Then i will lose admin rights to the other clans that i m going ember of so i m going to try and avoid that ok so looks like only the founder can enable clan privileges so i m going to show you how to do that on this account.
My main diet cola for the win account bullet club. I m sorry rec room night. I m sorry i m going to do this. And it is going to lose my clan privileges and clan tag for a moment and then once we do that and get out of the provisional clan stage.
And i ll be able to join back up so this is only temporary thing guys please please don t be mad at me now this clan that we re enabling we are going to be able to it s open to everyone keep that in mind and we re going to able with both playstation network and xbox accounts..
Okay so i clicked to enable it with my with my admin account and the group id is now cola. We had enabled it with the xbox account. And so now we need to log in with our other accounts and choose join clan. Okay so now i m logged into one of the other accounts and all you have to do to do this is now that the clan features were enabled.
We have to set as clan for xbox account. Now. If you have both an xbox account and a playstation account. This will show up as set as clan for xbox account and a separate button for set as clan for playstation account.
So don t worry about that you can have two different clans. If you re on two platforms. I am now a member of the clan. Okay.
So that s great let s close that up and before you ask because i know you re going to ask i don t think you can create a group on a phone and all that kind of stuff. But you can definitely join a clan from your phone. So i m going to attempt to do this on my phone and take screenshots and that way i can kind of show you how to do it okay so i have logged in on my phone as the correct person and we re going to go ahead and try and find the group so first. I m going to click more and then i m going to do the same thing idem.
The website. I m going to hit search then i m going to type in stay. Frosty. Guardians and there it is before i even finish typing.
It s right there so i m going to click that okay we can see that right here. We ve got clan mates. It s showing dico dico 202 is already joined the clan and we re showing as admins. Both kill me now for the win.
And diet coke a so we found the group and nour only i ve already joined the group..
But normally you would hit this up arrow button right here in the corner. And then you re going to say join group lead group. Whatever first you have to join the group. Then you have to set as your clan.
So i m an admin and it gives me a couple other options here. But right now we re going to say okay set as xbox clan boom. It says clan set. And there you go now.
Let s say that you re you and your clan have a disagreement and for whatever reason you need to leave not all clans are healthy places. And not all groups are healthy places as well sometimes. It s just not a good fit. And that is okay to get out of that situation all you would do is you click the interact button and then choose remove of xbox account from clan or you choose leave.
