Today. I am bringing guys a very very special video. So obviously you ve seen title and you might have been seeing me hype this up all over instagram. A few weeks ago this video concept came to me over the summer because i was talking to my mom and just looking at old photos and just talking about the different decades especially the 80s.
What we were talking about it hasn t been very fascinated. I ve always loved looking into what teenagers did growing up throughout the different decades and the different style trends and fashion statements. Everything about it is just really interesting the fact that everything evolves. And where fashion is gone from the start of it to now and a lot of those things have actually come back in style and so through talking to my mom about this because she always tells me about my.
Doc. Martens. Eyewear and scrunchies different. Things that i and other teenagers wear.
Now. She laughs. Because those were things that were popular when she was growing up so. I thought it would be fun to do a little week challenge video where each day.
I dress up as a different decade. Now i started with the 60s and then for five days so 60s 70s 80s 90s in the 2000s i wore an outfit inspired by that for a day so what it was like to be a teenager during that time. Yeah. I do want to also note before you watch this.
There was a lot of different fashion and style trends going on throughout each decade. And it s very hard to pinpoint one outfit that kind of represents an entire decade cuz like think about it for 2019 if you were told to dress up in an outfit that describes this decade. Perfectly where would you even begin and so i kind of took little pieces that interested me. And what i felt i would be wearing if i was in that decade growing up.
But i m really excited and i hope you guys enjoy watching i definitely missed my kind of creative spark that always inspired my videos back when i did like skits. I am so excited for you to see this so let s go ahead and start off with the 60s i showered and i really want to be as accurate with this as possible so i m not going to be straightening my hair. We re really doing makeup. Because the thing with hippies from what i read and what i saw everything was very natural.

I also want to note before i show you one do with my hair. I don t want to know before i go any further that i am very aware of all the very important movements and things happening around the world during these times. I am focusing this video strictly on the fashion of these decades. I just want you to know that i am very aware of the things going on i actually went to the store.
And i got headband let s see here what s going on here is that good how s my hair. I think. This is as good as it s gonna get these i think are a very important piece to my overall look we i can t see what i look like hi. I m gonna trust that this is okay we re gonna go to nature let s take a road trip.
Most of us they enjoy good times over again in picture okay fit today today. We re going to the 70s. A really fun plan for today where we re going umm it s surprise. I promise the outfits gonna help and the makeup.
I have some texture spray okay so that did literally nothing i think we re getting somewhere with this okay that actually helped a lot i think just like big. I m not gonna do too much with it for the makeup. I went online and i was doing some research and the makeup. It was just as colorful as the outfits.
One i did see a law and i also talked to my parents they said blue eye shadow. I had this palette here and we got a very bright blue color that we re gonna go off with. But it just is basically very glittery and there was a lot of blush so here s my finished makeup. I also have these fun little groovy earrings um.
These are actually my mom s growing up these are like some vintage earrings guys. I think they re like clip ons okay. I m feeling it alright. I don t know about you.
But i am feeling very 70s i am gonna go put on my outfit and then we re gonna transform today s the day that i am most excited for it is the 80s now so much was going on in the 80s and i feel like it was just such a fun time to be growing up in i obviously when i start off with my hair. I m not gonna do too much to it cuz. I know hair was just basically big so i m gonna try my best to do that and i obviously have a scrunchie and although i never bring them you re down here that would really help. I also feel like the more messy.
Better. Oh wow. Hi. I feel like just teasing.

It and like make. It. Big. I might play with this but i feel like this is good base for the makeup.
I m gonna take the color out again and i m gonna do some like pinkish colors. I m gonna go ahead and use my palette. We re slowly. But surely transforming here last accessory before i change a mood ring.
This is kind of the thing then i am feeling. According to this i am feeling quirky af. There it is there we have it guys. We also have lit af jealous af.
Salty af hot. Af hold af. Why are they saying. Af.
Chill. Pissed extra and quirky. So this is clearly a very modern mood ring. So that kind of defeats.
The purpose. But i kind of love it and i m never taking it off so i like i got from the 80s alright. So family well on a scale of 1 to 10. How is my outfit right now i attend 10 well it s up there tops ai.

With my small prize that i go out since i basically won no tickets. I was able to afford two warheads in this thing. And my fingers are way too big to fit in there. So we re not gonna do that i also give a shout out to aaron for filming me every single day this week.

Every day she s driven to these like random places with me oh who s gonna try not cool. I think i did it faze me mm where s the fun part here s your bread. It better was another. I think about the good part like what is the point.
What made someone say like i want to make a candidate makes me wanna throw up i think it s like the thrill of eating it and knowing. It s going to be a challenge last little challenge for a tuesday is we re gonna go by starbucks and order something and then just see if they say anything they re not going to but can i please do a grande iced green tea with two pumps of sweetener. There s this beautiful man who s just like whipping up a frappuccino back there they were very unfazed of my outfit. Too so that was a fail all right you don t want to see you tomorrow so we re on to our fourth day. I am excited for today s because i actually went off like a movie character for this one. But i feel like it was a very iconic one right in the middle of the 90s.
I feel like it was a lot easier for me to pinpoint one s going on in like the 70s and 80s. But i did decide to go with the route of playing not playing wearing an outfit inspired by cher from clueless. I actually have two different headband options. We have like this styled one which i feel like was very common.
But then i have this one and it s like you got your thick comfy headband hi. I don t like that okay yeah we re doing the white one. I m gonna do some like whitish bright eyeshadow and then eyeliner cuz. I feel like that was a big thing and then i m just going to keep it kind of basic for the rest of it like blush lips.
I mainly want to focus this look on the actual outfit itself 90s makeup is on let s see where i m going today to transform transportable cellular telephone. Well. We we ve made it to the end of this week. Today is the most modern well not modern.
But the most recent decade. It to a curve and this was the early 2000s. Now this this was the only one that i was technically alive for i wasn t a part of it cuz. I was very young.
There was a lot that was going on you don t get like movie premieres or carpet. Things from then and the outfits. They re wearing like scarves and like jeans and like tops. I also think two dozen so i should come back i think it was fun before the makeup for today.

It s obviously very sparkle glittery oriented lip gloss was also the big thing. The trend. The fashion trend was to have very thin not feathery bushy eyebrows and then for my hair. We re gonna obviously do some bread action or gonna be to thousands teen okay makeup is finished.
I m just gonna put them on both sides this way it also keeps my hair from the gloss so hair is done and now my favorite little accessory. I ordered these from etsy and i m pretty sure they came from scotland. So these are what we re taking a while to come so we really need to appreciate these. There s these like little pop earrings.
Oh. My god okay let s go and you re. Watching disney channel. Your foots like randomly in the background.
You can t put pressure on me to blow up what houses come i m gonna trigger everyone for a second you ready well look at where we are now we have made it to the end um. I m actually really sad this is over this was such a fun week. I had no idea what to expect when i first started this and it was just so fun. And it s definitely something that i would like to do again maybe.

And it s called the ronald mcdonald house and it s a charity that helps provide families with resources and a place to be if they have a kid that is sick in the hospital and so i think this is really cool that they re able to set up a place that can help those families um so you can go on there and educate yourself and donate.
