A saw so we can say i saw an old lady sawing with a saw how can hard be an adverb if it doesn t end in ly. There are a kajillion adverbs that don t end in ly like always everywhere. And very and there are also many words that end in ly that aren t adverbs like friendly jelly and apply.
But for the sake of this lesson. And most importantly. There are flat adverbs. A flat adverb is an adverb that has the same form as a related adjective fast is a flat adverb.
