Usually we use our playstation for it to watch out like netflix and youtube. But my mom has a tv in her room also which we need to put netflix and youtube lon. So we decided to pick up this android tv box with him essentially throwing any thievery into a smart tv. So it can get those outs.
So hopefully this works we got this really cheap off of shop ii. I ve watched a few reviews online and it s pretty good so we ll see how it really works. But i m gonna be testing it out on this tv right back here alright..

So let s get into the unboxing. Okay. So here. We ve got the first time.
I m looking at it myself. The ott tv box or the awesome box. So. This is what s inside.
We got the actual mxq pro 4k tv box and in here. We got some this looks like the power brick. Got a remote hdmi hdmi. Cable and manual instruction.
So here is the box. There we go. It s made out of a plastic..

We ve got at the back usb. A vhd ethernet and the power. Let s take this off this side. We ve got a there s a micro there s an sd card.
So that s cool you as more usbs. So you can probably watch videos off of a usb. So there. It is mx q.
Pro 4k. So as soon as i plugged in the hdmi. It automatically switched over to the hdmi source and so it started up right away. So that s that s really cool got the remote let s see what we can do here yeah there mode needs batteries got me some energizer batteries okay so it works now we ll try to cut up the internet no you re going to take a while to type in the password so now it s connecting to the wi fi hmm try again try again okay got to connect successfully so now go back.
We ll check out some oh yeah. I ve already got netflix let s check out youtube. It s got stowbox check out youtube open a new version of you to look there..

So i guess to drop alright. So no okay let s wait for this to update. I need to sign into my google account now it s updating just like a normal app from the play store. So we ll wait for this and then we ll check it out so welcome welcome to youtube.

I want to get to the full screen down here. Oh up here so netflix was asking also to update to the latest version. But it said that it wasn t compatible with the android box by hopefully whatever version this necklace is runs fine. So we got netflix up let s see you re at work let s try to load a video check out contra game please so in the movie the the bitrate is kind of slow i don t know if that s our internet or the actual box who put this our internet.
So this has been my unboxing of the android tv mxq pro 4k what i can say about it is that it loads up pretty fast it moves pretty smoothly. But then once you get out of the menu into an app like youtube or netflix. The interface is kind of hard to control..

It s sort of like the app is designed for mobile. But you have to control it with the remote and sometimes you can t see what you re clicking or you can t get to the button. As you want so i haven t been able to really figure it out yet i ll continue working on it and if i figure out how to do it then maybe i ll make an update video on it. But that s it for now works okay if you can get past the difficult controls.
But it was really cheap so i guess you get what you pay for so anyway. I don t know that s why it was so cheap it was yeah so it was fake. It was an imitation of a real product and that s why i like the menus were good.
But the actual apps weren t really working so kind of bummed about that good thing. It wasn t so expensive. But this product was a it s a fail so lesson is a when you re gonna buy something you know check if it s real if it s widget and if not make sure it s a good quality coffee. But no just go pick up the original don t waste your money and that s all ” .
