When this trademark was filed also this one was filed in europe now i don t have any experience trademarking games. But it sure seems unusual that bethesda would file in europe and not the us.

But the trademark has since been removed completely from the eu ipo this means that right now as i am speaking. There is currently no trademark anymore for fallout new orleans a few days after the august 10th filing news outlets caught wind of the trademark and of course the speculation began to fly since then many fans of the series have been wanting obsidian entertainment to develop new orleans.
They did such a great job with fallout. New vegas of course people remember that new vegas came out two years after fallout. 3. If we follow that pattern than the hypothetical obsidian fallout would come fall of 2017 apparently all we needed was a flimsy trademark to confirm the next fallout game.
The same day that all this news dropped obsidian posted a picture of an 8 ball on twitter with the words very doubtful personally this doesn t mean much to me i don t consider this an official denial or confirmation of anything even if new orleans were real obsidian wouldn t be able to confirm it anyway. If you follow up citians twitter account you know that this really doesn t mean much they like to joke around a lot..
And so just having this eight ball. Really doesn t mean anything to me on september 7th vp of pr and marketing at bethesda pete hines took part in an interview posted on metro. The subject surrounded prey fallout for fallout vr and really everything bethesda towards the end of the interview. Pete was asked about fallout new orleans.
He responded with the typical. We don t comment on trademarks or rumors answer and explain that they don t confirm or deny. Whether trademarks are real or not he was then asked if bethesda would work with external developers on fallout again. Which pete reply that they re already doing that with quake.
Pete was asked the very same question again just worded differently with a reference to new vegas. And replied with i don t know we ll have to see along with a slight grin in brackets. I know my friend. Mr.
Maddie has commented on the slight grin already and i have to agree with him for the most part. This could have just been a happy day for pete and he was smiling for whatever reason..
We don t have any video to look at and even if we did this is the vp of pr and marketing at bethesda. His job is to control the image in the message that is being sent out by the publisher bottom line. I don t think the slight grin means anything and i don t think we should look into it at all since that interview three weeks ago. There s been nothing new on fallout new orleans of course.
We had the announcement of no ps4 mods. So i m sure bethesda has been dealing with that and of course. Everyone s been distracted by everything else i will say that what has happened so far does not convince me that this is real i certainly think it s possible that we ll see another fallout game in the next year or so just because of how wildly successful fallout. 4.

I think it s really hard to say that this is real given. The fact that it s been retracted and everything else i ve shared in this video.
