I am going to discuss my theory on the identity of the woman seen in end of time it has been implied several times that the woman who appears to wolf during the course of the episode and also appears next to rassilon at the very end of the episode may have been intended to be someone close to the doctor. It was further elaborated through various off screen sources that she may have intended to be his mother. Although this has never been unanimously confirmed or indeed even confirmed on screen other off screen evidence suggests she could be any number of characters ranging from his daughter.
Nope. Not that one chancellor flakier than the five doctors chancellor failure. Now.
The fact that it was his mother was something that i personally chose to believe.
However. This theory may have been slightly contradicted by the appearance of this character seen in the series 9 ending hell bent. She is also credited as the woman now its worth saying at this point at no point during production off screen or by anyone official has there been any correlation made between these two characters.
This is simply an interpretation of my own thoughts. My revised theory is that she is not the doctors mother. However.
Some evidence may suggest that the doctor grew up in some kind of childrens home or boarding school before his days at the academy. Indeed. The events of listen.
Which have also been explored in other expanded media suggests that the doctor slept in the barn.
Because he didnt want the other boys to hear him cry. Why does he he so perhaps. The woman is not his mother.
But a motherly figure to him and the other boys in regards to her change in appearance between the stories. I think that shes not just the gallifreyan woman. But even a time lord slash lady herself evidence to this is despite the fact that the doctor has changed appearance.
Shes still able to recognize him tell you it is well known in the canon of doctor who that tunnels can recognize each other on site. Regardless of outward external appearance and therefore theorized that the reason for her change. And the reason.
She recognizes the doctor is that she herself is a time lord and rather like rassilon.
She regenerated. Following the events of end of time whilst. This is all just conjecture on my part for me at least.
It certainly holds together the theory that the woman in end of time and the woman in hell bent are indeed incarnations at the same time lord now before i finish. This theory. There is a little side note to this which doesnt have any evidence at all so it might be slightly harder to regard as canon.
But again personally i like to think. It is in day of the doctor right before the war. Dr.

The daleks. A woman and two men are seen protecting some children whilst. We never find out exactly who they are as only the younger of the two men is credited as arcadian father.
I like to think that this woman and perhaps the older of the two men are indeed the same man and woman from listen. This then means that the woman seen in this clip is indeed. Another incarnation of the woman as i said.
There is little to no evidence to support us.
