Your youtube account verified and what the heck doesn’t mean and this is what what caused me to wonder about that i had a video pop up in my videos today that wasn’t it right here youtube verified nope and it says youtube has unverified my account along with thousands of others and with me being a small channel. I thought well i must have gotten unverified and you’re probably thinking the same thing so i’m gonna show you what i did to check to see if i was verified and then i have instructions to help you get verified if you’re not in then i’ll let you know what that means first of all go to wwwyoutubecom. Lehrenhollywood to go being verified with youtube means that you can start loading youtube videos that are 15 minutes or longer.
So if you’re not verified.
And you’ve tried to load something at 15 minutes or more you’re not going to be able to and that’s what this helps you to be able to do so. There you go now. If you’re not verified.
Yet.
And you would like to be verified let me show you what you need to do you need to go let’s go into my account okay here’s the youtube page right here i’m gonna select my little channel icon and then you’re gonna go down and select the little gear. But the one for settings not the one at the top see this one here the gear says youtube studio. I want to go down to the gear.
That says sorry about that i want to go down to the youtube.
The gear. That says settings. I want to go into my channel settings so i’m gonna select that and then you’re gonna go under well it didn’t go right just a moment.
It’s pause.
I have to say i love the pause button for times like that when you hit something by accident alright so now i’ve hit the little gear. That’s the settings under my channel and this is what popped up and what you want to do i’m already verified. But you’re gonna go to here.
Where it says your account.
And it says view additional feature. So you want to go in there now from here you’re just going to follow the steps. It’s going to ask you to put in which country you’re from and then it’s going to ask you to put a phone number usually your cell phone.
So that they can send you a code and then you’re gonna put the verification code in and select enter next.
And you’re all done and you’re verified now. I’m already verified so all of those steps did not pop up so here’s another thing. If you do not have a cell phone and you have no way to get a text message then you can go to google voice mail just google.
It and you can create a google voicemail account and they will send you that text into your gmail account.
If you did not know that that will help you as well i live out in the country. And we do not get cell phone service while we’re home. So i use that feature whenever i’m trying to verify accounts or codes need to be sent to me.
And things like that so just a little tip in case you’re in the same situation.
Which probably. Most of you aren’t alright hopefully that was helpful today get verified start putting longer videos on your page into your channel. It is been proven statistically that those videos that are 10 to 15 minutes long are the best time frame.
But you might find that sometimes you go to 16 17. Minutes. And you need that little bit of extra push so make sure you get verified and you can start putting those videos on i’m also i’m going to ask you today is just subscribe to my channel.
