This is a fantastic controller but i did want to get you guys a good look at this controller to see it you actually wanted to spend your hard earned cash on this. So let s go ahead and take a look first at the box. This is the box that it comes in it s nice sleek and compact has a lot of the signature pokemon on there from koryo to pikachu the charizard and right here you can get a good look at the controller and everything. But it s about on the box.
So the box is really nice like i said. It s really small it s not a very big box at all so we re going to go ahead and put that right here next you have the little slip that it comes with is just the instruction manual don t really need that and next. We actually have the grand attraction. Which is the actual controller do you need this controller to play a polka and turn around that we you know you can use the wii u.
Gamepad. You can use the wii u. Pro. Controller.
You can use the wii u. Or the wii classic controller pro that plugs into your rear emotes so you have multiple control schemes. Heck you can even use the wii remote and nunchuk if you want to so why do you need this controller or why would you want to play with this controller..

So for one is the fact that it has just a great deep a can use the analog sticks in this game. But this is a specialty control that was designed just for pokken tournament and they decided it doesn t need analog sticks. Because really the game is better played with a d pad just because you re switching off between the 3d and 2d and to access dashes and to access all that type of stuff. It s just better with digital inputs just like most fighting games.
Unless you re using like in our case. They core seems like that. But these are definitely not arcade sticks and the next thing is the buttons the buttons are significantly bigger. If you can see right here.
Here s a nice little comparison as you can see the a b x. And y are bigger. So that s going to get you better tactile feel on your moves plus to start and select and zlz are these buttons. You don t really need them in the game you only use them in practice mode to switch phases.
So you don t really need them so having these shoulders these extra solar buttons that are on top of here and the shoulder buttons you see on top of here you really don t need them so this game. Does away with them and look at that you ve got nice big l. R. So you have great access to them no chance of accidentally pressing a button.
That you don t need look at the back. Here compared to some of the other controllers. It s a little bit more concave..

Which gives you a little bit grip. Especially if you have big hands. See these disciplines far more concave as you can tell right here. And if you have big hands.
This is going to be great for you because it just feels great as a natural grip. And the top buttons are just so big each button that you use is nice and big and there s plenty of space. Especially if you have big hands like yourself here and that s the cool thing about this control it really just feels great to hold it feels great to do your inputs with this d pad. And that s probably the biggest takeaway from this controller that gives it the advantage over these other controls here they all have the same d pad.
But it feels a little loose with some of these other d pads it feels like sometimes you can t input your ear directions. Quite as accurately and i know that s not for everyone. But for me that s kind of how i felt. But then when i got this controller.
It started just it started just flowing. I really started flowing for me. And i felt that it was way better the size is just great and the design is just so cool this little red transparent sleek design. Here it looks great it feels great.
But the biggest thing is how does it work how does it test out compared to the other ones with the wii u. Gamepad. Here..

I m not so sure about this controller as far as using it for pokken tournament. I know people can use it but i don t like how big. It is it just feels a little too big for me and to access the buttons. Here it kind of puts a little bit pressure on my index fingers.
It s definitely usable. But i definitely like this controller. More if i had an option for the controller next that i would use it would probably be the wii u. Pro.
Controller and then followed by the wii classic controller pro. This is definitely the best controller to use. But we need to test it out let s see how i do and then we ll come back to wrap this review. I lied and we are back from our play testing.
And i think that went pretty well i had a lot of fun playing especially with this hoary pokken tournament. Pro pad. It s really good it feels great on the touch. There s such good control options.
Nice big buttons. I really like it so. If you re in the market for a controller and you need something to play pokken tournament..

Forward please check out this controller. I ll have links in the description below one thing to note you can t use it for any other game. Other than pokken tournament on the wii u. You can t use it for classic games.
Or anything. Like that so that s the one thing that you have to realize. Plus. The advantage in my opinion is that it s wired it s not wireless.
So you can potentially not have any delay or lag frame or anything like that so i was like wired controllers like the game controllers wire. But unfortunately you can t use the game food controller overall. I would have to give this controller a thumbs up and so that basically wraps it up for my review here.
