Audiophile grade stereo pc gaming headset. With limited features and a steep price tag of around two hundred and fifty dollars even though it s a pc headset. I tested it out for the past few weeks. With my ps3 by using a y.
Adapter hooked up to. Astro gaming s mix. Amp. And.
Wireless. Mix. Am. 58.
4. Dolby. 51 and. Matrix.

Quality and want to find out if the premium price is really worth it stay past the break for my full review out of the box. There wasn t much just the. Headset it s. Thick 10 foot long.
Cord with gold. Plated..

Connectors. With most products. I would have felt skimped. But the slim features this headset packs.
Didn t have me disappointed because of how well they worked the first thing. I noticed was how simple the headset looks and how big. It is it has a matte black finish with silver sennheiser branding and the boom. Mic is finished in a glossy black speckle that complements it nicely the plastic is hollow.
Which keeps the headset extremely flexible and light weighing in at just 300 grams. But it s still extremely sturdy and ready to get thrown around a bit the ear cups have an open back design that lets ambient noise in with metal grilles on them to protect the drivers. It was awesome not having to shout into the mic to hear myself. But it also meant that anyone else around me could hear the sound leaking out on the left ear.
Cup. There s a rotating boom with a noise. Cancelling mic and it s the biggest. I ve ever seen on a headset.
But i can t say that it did much to weigh it down the boom is mildly adjustable with the center strip that bends in or out. It s not extremely flexible. But it can be plied enough to be comfortable enough to work with the boom isn t removable. But when twisted upright it mutes the mic.
It s more useful than a mic muting switch. And it feels extremely intuitive on the right ear. Cup. There s an on ear.
Volume control. I haven t seen this on any headset. Besides the knox audio specialist. And it s a welcome feature because it does away with any sort of pesky.
Inline controllers the ear cups on the headset er will make it so big sennheiser didn t list the size of the drivers. But they look to be around 40 millimeters at the least and are placed in what they call an x excel..
Sized earcup that completely surrounds the ear and provides a super tight. Seal unlike most headsets with a mere 20 to 20000. Hertz frequency range this puppy goes down to 15. Hertz all the way up to 28000.
Hertz and while a human ear can actually hear the extended frequency. Specifically. It definitely seemed to make for an extremely hi fi. Listening experience because it provides some of the widest sound.
Staging and natural sound. That i ve heard from a gaming headset playing music and stereo. Highlighted the pc 360s excellent sound quality easily. Highs were crisp and smooth enough that even the hardest cymbal and snare drum hits were pleasing to the ear.
While still retaining bite. The mids were so good that electric guitars came close to sounding like i was standing next to the guitar amps live and i can even hear the pic hitting the strings. In some instances base was throaty with just the right amount of boo meanness to it to sound natural. Surprising.
Considering open eared headsets are usually touted for poor bass response. But these handled sub bass. Pretty well too if you like bass to shake your head off these won t do it but if you want open and detailed bass. These are excellent vocals were also extremely full in detailed without an overwhelming amount of sibilants compared to the audio technica a 700.
So the highs were bright. But didn t become as tinny and the bass had much more presence and rumble in the mix. It s really just a great. Overall audiophile sound.
Stereo sound in gaming. Was so good. That. In some instances.
It came close to rivaling the sense of space from. Surround. Sound using the astro mix amp and mix and 58. It provided some of the most detailed surround sound that i ve heard to date from a stereo gaming headset.
In call of duty black ops positioning was awesome. I could pick off enemies..
Just as easily if not better than with the astroid 30s. Which are my preferred multi purpose headset. Even though at times. The high end can get a bit abrasive and they tend to be a little bit light on the booms.
This is one of the few headsets that i ve used that actually let me hear the snap of grenades and feel the boom without distorting. Losing any fidelity or hurting my ears. I consistently got higher scores with the pc through 60s and i attest it to the wide sound staging and accurate positioning. They let me.
Hear footsteps and pick out silenced weapons with ease. When it comes to the mic. The sound quality is extremely good and friends online. Always heard me clearly but in recordings.
The quality wasn t drastically better than any other headsets. I ve tested to warrant its large diaphragm in windscreen. We re talking online gaming here not a studio recording the great design features and sound quality were made even better by it s great comfort. The oversized open backed ear cup design had more than just sound advantages.
Because it actually kept my ears. Cool during long gaming sessions. Their plush velour padding. Helped to keep things extra soft and it didn t let my ears rub against the drivers.
Preventing any of those pesky cartilage cramps the fit of the pads is fairly tight. Though and it fought with my thick rimmed glasses for skull real estate. Every time i place them on. But it s a mild inconvenience that was worth it for the tight seal.
Still it s one of the most comfortable headsets. I put on to date and with a slightly looser fit. They would be even better the head rail feels a bit loose. But it does stay in place.
And it has enough range for the headset to fit. Smaller and larger sized heads the ear. Cups told up and down. But not fully in or out.
These might not be the best choice for traveling and that s my only major complaint with this headset. I d like to see some more portability and versatility in the design by way of foldable..
Ear. Cups a detachable. Boom mic and 35 millimeter. Compatibility out of the box to make its awesome sound quality available in more places.
Than just my tv setup. So that s the sennheiser pc. 360. And this is definitely a pro level headset.
When it comes to sound and build quality. The setup. I used to test these with the astro mix amp is definitely a large sum of cash at around 380 dollars total especially when you consider that an astro a40 audio system costs as much as the headset alone. But it s well worth the money if you can spring for it.
And don t mind. It slim set of features overall. I m giving the pc 360. A 4 out of 5 stars rating.

I just did it for a second. I don t think that was why but i really think that when i when i got my nose. Done you know they put overcast over it and literally a couple of hours after my nose drop. The card cast fell off and then when it fell off the next day when i went for my post op appointment.
I told him that my cast fell off so that they could give me a new one. But they didn t give me a new one so basically the entire time that i had my nose shop. I was healing with the no cast on at all only the piece of tape. So i don t know if that could have caused it.
