Youve just got the game maybe youre unsure on who to start leveling whos gonna benefit you the most in the long run or you just looking for some general recommendations.
I got you guys covered our previous video is just hit 15k views at this present moment and for me theres absolutely groundbreaking. Thank you guys so much well you also just hit 500 subs as well. Which is absolutely insane as a thank you for this we will be doing a giveaway on our twitch livestreams.
So be sure to give us a follow on there and all of the info will be in the description below if you guys want to participate. We will be giving away a couple of copies of dev by daylight or if you already have the game. Well be giving away a couple of dlcs instead alright lets get right into it i just want to point out that you guys can choose whoever you want to and if you like the look of a certain survivor or you like their style by all means go for that survivor.
This is just going to be a guide of which survivor. I personally recommend to use at the start of dead by daylight. The numerous reasons and that will benefit you the most in the long run one of the biggest determining factors in this is going to be their teachables.
If you dont know what a teachable is its essentially a perk that you can get on any other survivor. Once you purchase that from the shrine. Or this selected character okay first up.
We have meg as she offers a pretty good set of perks that are useful for chases first up we have sprint bust so when using split bus you get a massive boost of speed when you run for three seconds. When used efficiently this can be really really helpful for getting away from killers. It can allow you to just get that extra distance trying to get to a pallet or a window.
And its just all around a pretty good perk. The one downside with this perk is you just dont want to be running around all the time. Because the perk wont actually activate it does cause.
Exhaustion. Meaning. That you have to wait for this exertion timer to go down before using it again a little tip for everybody exhaustion doesnt go down.
If youre running you need to be walking or standing. Still for it to go down. Okay next up.
We have quick and quiet and i like to use this quite a lot. Its quite a useful perk. When you sprint.
Volt. A pallet or a window. You do not create a noise alert for the killer.
Meaning that you can safely fast vault. A pallet or a window without making any noise. This is actually very useful in the middle of a chase and a lot of killers get confused.
Because they dont get the noise notification and then end up actually losing you all so you can collaborate this perk. With dance of me and life and overall is an amazing perk build you can fast for a pallet or a window get a massive burst of speed from life not make any noise. And also leave no scratch marks for three seconds.
And finally. We have adrenaline. Now.
Adrenaline is the most meta perk out of all of our perks. Youll be seen. A lot of people using this including top tier players.
I personally love this perk. And i use it quite a lot. However this perk is very situational.
But when used correctly can provide some massive clutch wins. Weve using adrenaline once the exits are powered. You recover.
One health state. And also get a massive sprint burst for a few seconds. You get a jonalyn when the exit gates are powered this can happen either by you or a team or repairing the last generator or if the killer closes.
The hatch. So essentially if youre crawling along the floor in the dying. State and the killer closes.
The hatch or your teammates get the final ghent on you then become injured and actually get up and also get the sprint burst that is incredibly useful. I can give you some really cool experiences in the game. If you choose to level make first youll be getting all of her perks.
Including adrenaline in which you will most likely use later on down the line. But all other survivors that you choose to level thats free really good teachables next up we have a thing to use thing you are going to need to purchase a dlc if you are on pc. But i believe shes free on console.
Now each survivor that i recommend here guys is gonna cater to different players differently. I would recommend choosing a survivor that has perks based on the things that you struggle with the most and thing really does offer some great perks for a new beginner first up. We have life.
Which is an exhaustion perk essentially what this poke does is. When you fast forward. A pallet or a window.
You break into a big sprint burst for a few seconds. This park is great for getting distance on a killer in the middle of a chase. Now as a new player.
You are going to be really struggling with chases. So any exertion perk is pretty handy and a perk that gains you distance between you and the killer. Just by quick flowing.
Anything is a great beginner perk and in general just a good perk. All around next up. We have technician.
And this park is also very good for beginners because you guys are going to be struggling with skill checks quite a lot and when you miss a skill check you are like the killer to your area with technician not only does it decrease. The hearing distance and noise from the generator itself. If you miss a skill check.
There is a 50 chance that you dont actually give off a noise notification whatsoever meaning you can miss a skill check and you dont draw any attention to yourself again another great perk. If youre new to the game and in the final perk. The thing is alert its a super useful for beginners because when a killer does a break action such as breaking a pallet their aura is revealed to you for five seconds.
This is actually very very useful. Because you can determine what killer youre up against you can also use the orator man. Where the killer is and as i always say my most useful tip for you guys understanding the killer.
And what they do is the best way to counter it and thats gonna help you in the game. Although this perk may not seem like much it provides a lot of information. I can really help you out another great beginner survivor is actually kate a bit like fang kate comes with some really useful beginner perks.
If youre struggling in chases and getting to safety. Kate is definitely a good choice like fang. She is also a dlc character okay first up we have dance with me.
Which is actually pretty decent. Because this walker really confused. Newer killers toward the game went fast folding a pallet window or a locker.
You leave no scratch marks for three seconds. Just like quick and quiet this has a cool down of just less than a minute. I still sometimes use this perk in my builds and youll actually be surprised how many killers lose you because of this then we have windows of opportunity.
And this perk is amazing for new players because essentially what this perk. Does is that it reveals to you palettes and windows within a 20 meter radius. This is a massive safety net for beginners because it showcases you the safe zones.
And where to run to in a chase and if you find that youre just getting butchered in each match this could be a really helpful part for you after a long time of playing dead by delat you understand where loops are and where palettes are most likely to spawn. But as a new beginner. This is just a real helpful perk just to get you started.
And then finally we have boil over which really isnt that great of a perk to be honest a lot of people get this perk wrong. It does not increase how quickly your wiggle meter goes up. So essentially you just sway on their shoulders.
A little bit more it makes it a teeny. Little bit harder for the killer to walk straight. And the killer cant see a hook or are within 14 meters.
Now. This may actually confuse some newer killers toward the start of the game. But its not that great of a perk.
And its more of a nuisance perk than anything i dont really recommend this back at all moving on. I also recommend david as one of those perks is pretty useful and another perk is actually pretty useful for grinding blood points at the start of the game first up we have dead hard. Which is another exertion perk and with this perk.
What happens is when youre in a chase and the killer is about to swing you use your action button and dash forward without taking any damage whatsoever. And this can be really really useful for getting into a pallet or a window as long as you time this correctly. Its a pretty good exertion perk.
This is one of the few exertion perks that you can literally use. Whenever you want to for any situation. That you need and now we have davids second perk.
No mytha and this is a park. I dont really recommend at all its more of just a funny perk to use in general no skilled survivor. Would actually chooses perk.
Its more of just a mean build when you use no mither. You dont need any pools of blood your grunts and injury noises are reduced by 50 if youre crawling on the floor in the dying of state you can recover yourself and get back up. But there is one massive downside youre always injured see i would absolutely not recommend this perk for a beginner.
But its just part of davids perks and davids final perk is were gonna live forever and this is a really useful beginner perk because if you get all four save on hooks. You can essentially double your alterus and blood points. From one match in terms of blood points.
Db. D. Is very grindy.
So the additional blood. Points. Will definitely help i would just like to say this please do not use this perk in the wrong way and just farm people off of the hooks.
Your teammates will absolutely hate you for it and it doesnt mean that you actually get safe on hooks. And that lasts. Most certainly.
But not least we have claudette also known as blend debt or bush baby and the reason for that is because when you prestige three her. She becomes incredibly camouflaged and she blends in really well for it cools you see what i did there now ignoring all of that because you should not be prestiging. If youre brand new to the game a lot of you are gonna absolutely love her parks.
But on the other hand this is a 50 50 debate with dvd players some people love her perks and some people recommend not to use two other perks whatsoever. So im gonna go into this with an absolute open mind and like i said before you make this judgement. Based on how you are playing and if this would really benefit you her first perk is empathy.
Now this is one of her better perks. Because with empathy you can use this information to see everybodys auras when theyre injured. And thats really useful because you know where they are so you can heal them and if youre injured they can here with you but not only this you can also kind of make a judgement of where the killer could be if one of your teammates is injured and running around like a madman.
They are most likely getting chased. The killer. See you know where the killer is and to avoid that area well thats the second perk is botany knowledge.
And this focus do of healing. When using botany knowledge. Your healing.
Speed and efficiency are both increased by 33 now to a new beginner this might be pretty helpful because it will just speed up healing and get you back into the game quicker. However in the long. Run.
You arent likely going to be using this perk. Once you start to improve at the game. The efficiency and healing.
Speed. Does apply the self care. And also med kits.
And then we have the good old self care. Now this perk is so debatable personally. I dont like it.
And i dont usually recommend it however to a new player could see this being a very helpful perk. But it can create a lot of bad habits. For instance.
If you face a legion. This perk is just kind of useless. Because legion is always attacking you so you just spend all the game healing getting healed by a teammate or using a med kit is a much more efficient way of going about it and that is also about empathy can help you out.
But like i said before if you really are struggling to survive in any game. Give self care a try and it may really help you out one thing that i do ask of you is that you do not become scared to play the game and repair generators when youre injured and heal after every single hit ok everybody and that is my top 5 survivors for you to start leveling in dead by daylight.
