Im going to be talking about resumes because we all love resumes as recruiters. Most of the people watching this channel. Our recruiters are want to get into recruiting.
So youre in the right place and im going to show you today how to find hundreds of resumes of active job seekers alright so we all know that of course in recruiting. We need to find clients and then candidates so in order to find these clients. We go through business development.
Using linkedin and a multitude of tools. But lets not talk about that today lets talk about how we find our candidates. This are also our bread and butter.
These are people that we need theyre like currency they make the whole deal close so basically im gonna show you a way that you can essentially find hundreds or more of active job seeking resumes now to do that ive got a pop right into my computer and of course do a good screen share with you guys to show you exactly how this is done. And ill see you on the other side alright guys so we are right inside my computer and of. Course we are on indeedcom.
Americas favorite job website. You know i do not get paid to say that i would love to though but anyways im gonna show you exactly how i can find literally hundreds of resumes of active job seekers on indeed and its simple its using a tool called indeed resume finder and if you didnt pick that up at the beginning of the video youre picking it up now and im going to show you exactly how it works and how exactly you can find your candidates in a jiff. So lets do this so i brought up actually three tabs and im gonna make this really really simple for you so basically the way indeed resume finder works is like the following.
You get a handful of credits. So if i go to my dashboard here its gonna take me to lets see im gonna hit find candidates so ill go back here and im gonna look for my okay so i have 700 contacts for mating reason being is i have not been using indeed resume finder and it rolls. My credits over now you could pay for two versions.
Version. One gives you 100 resume searches for 250 dollars per month. Version.
2 gives you 50 credits. And i believe that is 100 per month. Now the money is completely irrelevant.
And ill tell you why because when you message someone with one of your templates on indeed for a job after you found their resume. What indeed actually does is if they decline to engage with you and hit the decline button you actually get that credit back. So essentially you can roll these credits over and ive literally never run out of resume credits.
So thats why i said you can literally find hundreds of resumes. So indeed resume finder is an absolute game changer. So lets just say we have a warehouse wreck that were trying to fill.
And its in seattle. So of course. I typed in warehouse next.
I put in seattle. Im gonna go ahead and find resumes. What makes this super super cool of course is the filters so i can literally search within 50 miles of seattle washington right central city right then i can search for when these resumes were last updated.
So i dont want to go past six months. Im gonna look for people that updated their resume last week. If not the last day but look at this the current economy were in i have 743 polls on people updating last week took about the last day.
Okay. I got a hundred and twenty four resumes of people that updated their resume within the last 24 hours that are ready for you to message them right here right now literally you can hit all of these people you can go even further than that you can check out their title. You can identify specifics whether you want to warehouse worker.
A driver assistant manager yada yada companies theyve worked at years of experience their education you could even run a spend details on them to pick out specific resumes you want for this job right here in this city. And its super super simple. So lets just go find resumes right okay.
And im gonna do it in the past week.
Im gonna say exclude contacted resumes within the past 90 days. Because i just dont want to have those on there. And im basically going to bring up about 500 resumes here.
So its as simple as this all you literally do is connect like this and you can view the resumes of course. Im just connecting to show you how it works. But you can view the resumes as you go so.
If i roll over jonathan right here. I can just look right here. He worked at fedex fedex again fedex.
Again okie worked at a fedex. A lot and then he also worked at another place and heres all his certifications and all that so you can vet. Everyone out you can check out all of their all of their qualifications and stuff and look at their resumes.
But all you have to do is check mark check mark check mark check mark whoever you want to contact right. And then you go back up and essentially at that point once youre done. And what youre ready you go ahead.
And youre ready to email these individuals okay now heres where it gets really really fun so basically you can customize a specific email to them right so what you would put in is like your name you know your company. If youre looking for like a warehouse company. I just generally put in something like seattle logistics and then theres templates okay so ive got plenty of templates here for different roles that ive filled in the past.
So i could just go ahead and use one of those let me just say that i i want one of my lets see my warehouse workers one of these guys okay boom. So seattle warehouse and logistics. Ive already got my templates set up so the template is completely set up.
Ive already written this out all the requirements. Everything is in here. The job description is in here.
Everything is already set up because ive been using this for so long so have these templates in here. And if you want to repeat. These searches like these are searches for nurses.
This was a search for dental hygienist. These were hvac searches amazon. There was all kinds of there was aerospace all kinds of stuff in here.
So im gonna go back. And i would just basically send email. Now whats really really important.
And you have to remember this. When you are writing your message to your your candidates right you need to say something along the lines of this you need to say at the end. Where is it in your message.
Right here. If you are not interested in this position go ahead and hit the not interested button. And ill be sure to not contact you again okay perfect not a big deal what that means is when they hit not interested.
It simply gives you your credit back. Thats why i have so many credits that have rolled over and so thats how finding resumes in this particular genre would work all right lets move on chicago. Okay.
Im looking for a paralegal so im gonna look you know of course. I want to go wide. Im gonna go like 60 miles outside the city of course.
Im gonna look at the past week. And i want to exclude anyway. Why i havent been searching in chicago.
But i wanted to exclude the past 90 days and so of course. Ive got a hundred people a hundred paralegals that have updated in the past week. That are ripe for the picking.
So you can literally go ahead and just select pretty much almost everybody if you like what their resume has to say right of course you want to go ahead and look at it i mean you dont want to do this blindly.
But check out their resume pick them off right go ahead. Ready for it. Email compose a brand new template for for the paralegal position.
That you want to hire them for and then blast that email off of course. Its gonna come from exactly my email so theyre gonna respond all to me so really resume finder is for when you have you know a job that you just want to blast a ton of emails out there right you can always put up an indeed ad. You can always put up a craigslist ad.
But its really really simple to use indeed. Im a finder because youre being proactive youre coming at the candidate rather than waiting for the candidates. See your ad and then contact.
You all right lets look for accountants. Okay accountants in new york city. All right lets be fun with this.
So lets go and say. 58 miles outside the city within the past week. Theyve updated their.
Resume im gonna exclude out of 90 days and i still have 3600 applicants. Okay lets go in the past 32 minutes just letting mean last day in the last day. 740 accountants from all over the new york new jersey area are ready to be employed in new jobs.
Okay so i can go scan their resumes. I can check the boxes. I can come up with the exact you know template that i want to send them.
And i could send them all emails that my friends is how you can find hundreds of resumes and contact these active job seekers. Who have literally updated their resume within the past day. Very very easily in literally whatever genre you want from warehouse paralegal to accountant to pretty much anything.
So thats my little pro tip for today and ill see you guys on the other side all right so as you just saw that is how easy. It is to find literally hundreds of resumes on indeed resume finder for your job requisites. So if you have a job that youre searching for candidates on you had better be on indeed resume finder again.
I dont get paid to say that its just a tool that ive used and used really efficiently as you can see i havent had job wrecks where ive been using it lately because i have 700 credits as they roll over every single month again to go over the pricing on indeed resume finder. Its two hundred fifty bucks a month for one hundred credits of resumes and its a hundred bucks a month for 50 credits of resumes doesnt really matter which one you picked. Honestly i would go for the higher tier.
Because at the end of the day theyre gonna roll over whenever one hits decline. Youre gonna get that credit back and if someone does hit theyre interested you get two credits back thats why the system basically never lets you fail because youll never run out of credits. I have personally used indeed resume finder for warehouse positions admin positions accountants.
Ive used it for paralegal. I have used it for everything i showed you dental hygienists. Ive used it for transportation.
Ive used it for literally everything and it works great obviously i wouldnt go for the high level stuff like it high level finance like way above sea level accountant stuff like that thats not gonna be the best market for it but in the mid tier range. Where a lot of recruiters play definitely. Indeed.
